In reply to Marie. I'm so sorry we have moved since doing this project. I think they are about 6 inches apart however the best option is to decide how many you want (we had 3) and find your center point and then find the center point from the middle to each side and place the other one there. That will change depending on how many hooks you want to have.

Hi, love how the closet looks. My husband is going to do this to our coat closet but we are going to add 2 lower shelves at the bottom for shoes. I do have one question how many inches did you leave between hooks?
