OK I just re-read your comment, for some reason I thought you were having a problem with it not sticking to your mat. If it is sticking/tearing I would definitely recommend a light grip mat, they are my favorite and currently I use the light grip for everything except glitter iron on vinyl.

What strength mat are you using? They have a variety of them now (strong grip, medium grip, and light grip) I would suggest strong grip if you’re having a problem with them sticking. Another option is to use the light grip mat and flip your freezer paper over (so the shiny side is up) and then mirror your image before cutting out. Hope one of these helps! Good luck.
