Sick AGAIN!

By Creative Housewives 2 Comments

Can I please just cry “IT’S NOT FAIR!!!!”.  I am ready for some weather that is in the mid 50’s so I can open up some windows and send the kids outside to play.

The little goose is once again fighting some bug that I am sure one of her older siblings brought home from school for her.

This is what I’ve been doing the last 2 days now:

The fever’s been the worst of the whole deal.  She deals with fevers like her older brother, she gets all teary eyed and drippy nosed 🙁  No fun.  We’ve spent a lot of time snuggling in my bed watching Little Mermaid (or Ariel as she calls it).  She’s been doing a lot of sleeping (which is good) and I’ve done a lot of holding and snuggling.
Last night after a sad incident that involved an accident in my bed during one of her little naps.  She got a bath and a little pampering.
(I love her little piggies)

Thankfully Nate got her some treats (crackers, Gatorade, yogurt, and Popsicles) and she slept well.
We had to do a little running around this morning and I got this picture of her being so funny.
Isn’t her outfit awesome?  She just wanted to snuggle in bed.  She was standing there, holding 2 balloons with her eyes closed.  Just standing there, not 100% sure what she was thinking would happen but it was funny.
In other news THIS GUY got himself another wristband today.  He has now passed off all his sounds (which means capital letters, lower case letters, and sounds are all passed off).  He gets to start bringing books home on Thursday!
(can you tell he’s just a little excited?!)

I’m really hoping this little cold or whatever it is leaves REALLY quickly.  I have a WHOLE bunch of things I want and need to get done so fingers crossed!
Have a great day!

I’m ready for spring and opening up windows too! Sorry about your little girl. Hope she gets feeling better soon. And your son is such a cutie!

Thanks Alexis…I am so not ready for full summer to hit yet but I would be thrilled with a few months of mid 50’s to low 70’s 😀
