St. Patrick’s Day Shadow Box

We wanted to add a fun little craft to our St. Patrick’s Day decor.  So we decided to make this cute and sparkly St. Patrick’s Day Shadow Box.  We used our Cricut Maker with the rotary blade and fine point blade to cut our felt, vinyl, and party foil.  Keep reading to see how easy it is to put it together!

Putting together your St. Patrick’s Day Shadow Box

Here are the items you’ll need to make this:
Cricut Maker
Rotary Blade
Fine Point Blade
8 x 10 shadow box
Vinyl in black, pink, yellow, and green
Holographic vinyl in Gold
White cardstock
Party Foil in green
Felt in Moss
Adhesive

Directions:

Take the back off of the shadow box use adhesive to attach cardstock to the shadow box back.  Use this cut file and the fine point blade to cut out vinyl.  Lay your layers down in order of green vinyl, yellow vinyl, pink vinyl, holographic sparkle vinyl, and then black vinyl.  Using the fine point blade, cut out the shamrocks from the solid and sparkle green party foil.  Have you used the Cricut Party Foil yet?  It came out a couple of years ago and the more I talk to people about it, the more I realize people don’t know about it!  It’s super fun!  You can use it for banners, spiral party hangings, confetti and about a hundred other things!  Give it a try, you will love it!  You don’t need a special blade, just your fine point blade in your Maker or Air machine!
Use the rotary blade to cut out the shamrocks in the felt.  I cut 30 of the shamrocks in each color/material.  Fill the bottom of the shadow box with the shamrocks.  Put the back on the shadow box and give it a little shake to mix up the shamrocks.

Adding to your St. Patrick’s Day Decor
