In reply to Unknown. So I used blue dish soap warm water apple cider vinegar and baking soda. The spot is a little whiter than the rest 9 the carpet. Is this bad? I hope not....

Any truly professional carpet cleaning service knows not to use baking soda on a carpet because of its high pH (approx. 12). Maximum allowable pH for carpet is 10 (because pH is a logarithmic scale, a 12 pH is 100 times stronger than a 10 pH). In order to not damage the stain resistant properties of the carpet (pH higher than 10 will also void the carpet’s warranty, so yes, this is an important factor).
