I’m back again with some more ridiculously adorable cards. My friend Angela has been with Stampin’ Up almost as long as I’ve been using them. She invited me over to her house to spend the evening making some perfectly perfect cards and I jumped at the chance. It was such a fun time. We all paid a little bit of money and she supplied everything for us to make 2 of each of these cards. I’m a little bit in love.
I don’t have the complete supply list for each card but I have the majority of it, if I don’t list something and you would like to know what it is just ask and I’ll be sure to get it from her. Everything we used is included in the Stampin’ UP! Catalog June 2, 2015-May 31, 2016.
First up is this *Birthday Wishes* card.
I love the mixture of textures on this card and the fact that it isn’t just your normal folded in half card. We used washi tape and stamps to make the cake and the stars out of gold glitter paper pop off the page to give it that perfect extra touch.
The supplies for this card are:
Watermelon Wonder cardstock (page 143)
Whisper White cardstock (page 141)
Build a Birthday Stamp Set (page 11)
Glimmer Paper (page 149)
Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack (page 144)
Cherry on Top Designer Washi Tape (page 157)
Stampin’ pad Watermelon Wonder (page 137)
Memento Pad Tuxedo Black (page 163)
Confetti Stars Border Punch (pate 166)
The next card is the *Thanks* card. I can never seem to have enough Thank You cards and I love that this is perfect for any occasion.I love that this card uses a few of my very favorite items/techniques. I love the linen thread and the typeset paper, one of my favorite *tricks* I have used for years is tearing paper to give it that unfinished edge, we did that with the typeset paper and I think it looks great.
Supply List:
One Big Meaning Stamp Set (page 16)
Butterfly Basics Stamp Set (page 124)
Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper (page 142)
Very Vanilla Cardstock (page 143)
Memento Pad Tuxedo Black (page 163)
Rhinestone Basic Jewels (page 160)
Linen Thread (page 159)
The 3rd card is maybe my favorite it’s *Choose Happiness* message is a perfect reminder for everyone.Like I said, I think this card might be my favorite and of all the greatness it includes I think the “Choose Happiness” stamp is my favorite piece. There are plenty of other things that take this card from cute to great (those pearl jewels are so simple they’re perfect) but the Choose Happiness says it all and just makes me happy.
Supply List for this beauty:
Whisper White Card Stock (page 141)
Classic Stampin’ Pads (page 137)
Calypso Coral
Crushed Curry
Mint Macaron
Tip Top Taupe
Pearl Basic Jewels (page 160)
Gift Box Punch Board (page 150)
Choose Happiness Stamp Set (page 22)
I hope these cards give you some ideas for some adorable cards. Even if you don’t want to get everything I used for each card (but you should) I think these cards are a great jumping off place for a bit of inspiration.
What do you think? Which card is your favorite?
I can’t wait to show you the cuteness (not card) I came up with from some of their Halloween stuff!!! I think you’re going to DIE it’s so cute (and seriously something ANYONE could do which I think are the very best crafts.
Since the weather has been a bit cooler the past few days my crafting desire has gone through the roof so I’m taking advantage and getting some projects I’ve been putting off done. I so need a craft room!
