As of January 29, 2020 the Design Space web-based program will be going away. It will no longer be available for use.

Do I have to use Cricut Design Space for Desktop?
You will need to download Design Space for Desktop if you want to use a computer to design and cut. You can always use the Design Space app if you don’t want to use a computer. Speaking of the Design Space App…

YES! Cricut Design Space for Desktop is free to use.
Do I need internet connection to use Cricut Design Space for Desktop?
Technically Design Space is still connected to the internet. You will need to be connected to the internet to access Ready-to-Make projects, project sharing, and community features. You do not need internet access to design or cut. Once you have a project, image, or font downloaded to your computer you can use it to create all the projects you want.
