What is it about brown paper packages tied up with string? If I could figure out how to do my entire Christmas wrapping just like this I would but I’m afraid my children would be a little disappointed in the lack of color (and I have some really cute wrapping paper right now).
I made these Pillow Box Packages for the thank you treats at my daughter’s reindeer birthday party. They turned out so pretty that it was hard to give them to 4 and 5 year-olds. I think I’ll be using them as friend gifts this Christmas season as often as I can.
I fell in love with these Kraft Pillow Boxes when I found them at a craft sale, they were just too cute to pass up. I filled the Pillow Box Packages with a variety of Christmas candies and then wrapped the boxes with Hazel and Ruby Decor Tape and tied them with Red and White Baker’s Twine. The options are endless with these kraft pillow box packages. They’re the perfect size for so many gifts, they’d hold a gift card, lip balm, fingernail polish, hair accessories, small toy, candies, the list goes on and on of things that can be put in these cute packages and the different ways you can dress them up are unlimited (however I am very drawn to these gold, sparkly polka-dots!).
How do you wrap gifts for Christmas? Do you color coordinate everything or have a mismatch of wrappings? I use to just use whatever wrapping paper I had and just throw everything under the tree, now I try hard to have all the gifts coordinate and look pretty. I think this is a great way to do it…lots of kraft colors and string!
