I am so excited to share my first experience as a pattern tester with you. Sarah over at Brynnberlee Designs was in need of pattern testers to test her new pattern the Bethany Dress. Since I love to sew and love the excuse to do so I emailed her right away to see if I could do it. Luckily she picked me to make the size 5 dress. It really was explained very well which made putting it together fun and easy. I am very happy with how the dress turned out and am so excited it fit Missy so well.
Here is the dress alone. It hits right at her knee and with the elastic in the back it fits nicely fitted w/out being tight.
Since this sweetie has to have sleeves for school and it is always best for church as well and since she is in love with leggings I put her cardi over it with a pair of her capri leggings and I love it even more. I think it is a great pattern for this current popular style and I have no doubt that she could wear a t-shirt under it and it would be just as cute.
Obviously she loves it! To get it done quickly I used stuff I had on hand but I cannot wait to make it in more fallish colors so she can wear it with a l/sleeve shirt under it and tall boots ๐ I am thinking a brown corduroy would be really fun!
I hope you like it. You should go check out Brynnberlee Designs if you’re looking for great and easy patterns. They are darling!
(I am not receiving anything from Brynnberlee Designs for making this post, I just enjoyed making the dress and thought it turned out cute.)
