Have you entered our giveaway for a family pass at Baby Animal Days yet? We’re so excited to go see all the little babies. SO excited that I had to make Little Missy a cute outfit to wear while we’re up there (and of course trips to the farm which is a family favorite as well).
Puppy Kensie is back there.
Ta-Da!!!!
For this outfit I once again pulled out my stand by patterns (top – Brooke peasant top/dress pattern; bottoms – Ruffled capris & pants).
I used the Brooke top in a size 3 but lengthened it to a size 4 with ruffles. I wanted the top to hit more tunic length than normal top length.
For the bottoms I made them a capri length in a size 3 (have I mentioned this 2 year old little stinker is quite tall) and added the ruffles.
All 3 fabrics I purchased quite a while ago at Hobby Lobby. I have obviously wanted to make her this outfit for a while, the trip to Baby Animal Days was just the push I needed to get it done.
For both the bottom ruffle of the capris and the bottom ruffle of the top I used very little extra fabric to gather it. They are both very slightly ruffled (only a couple extra inches for gathering) and I really like how they look that way.
I really can’t get over how cute she looks in this outfit.
I’ll say again how much I love these patterns – I highly recommend both of them.
I have to say I think she likes it too!
She makes me giggle with her funny little faces.
I can now check off one more outfit in my plan to sew her spring/summer wardrobe myself.

Have a WONDERFUL day!!!
