So, THIS is the baby’s bedroom.
It has need of some help. It isn’t *awful* I mean, she is the 7th child 🙂 It could be worse, her bedroom could be a closet right? She’s pretty lucky to have her own room and I can’t wait to get it done.
Anyway – here are some of the needs – #1 paint, #2 trim, #3 blinds, #4 more pink, #5 new flooring, #6 the cute curtains that are stacked on the nightstand that you can’t see in this picture hung up, #7 framed bow holder hung above changing table (not pictured here).
#8 lots of wall decor. The 1st real project of her room was the changing table and I am so happy with the result.
did I mention new flooring? We hadn’t lived here long when the dynamic duo (5 & 6 year old monkeys) spilled brown paint in the door way – pretty right? Gotta love the purple crayon on the closet doors, good thing they aren’t painted yet. #9 all new outlet covers. #10 you can’t see it here but new light fixtures!
#11 the bedding I love but it will be getting a bit of a face lift, #12 the lamp will get a new shade and the base will be painted black, #13 a nice big mirror will go above the dresser.
I have so many ideas for her room. Some of them (flooring & trim at least) will have to wait a little bit but I am excited to see it all come together!

2 things- 1. I noticed the pencil drawing on the closet doors… I have 2 little girls who just did that all over my newly painted white bedroom so it made me smile 🙂 and 2. I LOVE that bow holder! On my to do very soon list!
Katie – don’t you love the *help* little ones give you? My 2 younger boys have been quite hard on the walls in their room – they don’t seem to understand that throwing things at them causes the paint to come off – because of that I am finding any/everything I can to cover up the wall space but still have it look nice.

I love the color scheme and can’t wait to see the finished product. I’m impressed she does have her own room! How many bedrooms do ya’ll have?
