Countdown to Christmas with Chocolate

By Jenn Leave a Comment

Countdown to Christmas with Chocolate - housewivesofriverton.comThe other day I shared a Countdown to Christmas with books.  I love having different Christmas Countdowns for the kids and they love it too.  To me a perfect Countdown to Christmas is one that can be quickly and easily done.  I’m not sure they get any easier than this Countdown to Christmas with Chocolate.
I found these adorable Santa Hat Chocolates at Target.  What is awesome about this Countdown to Christmas is that aside from printing out the free printable and having chocolates on hand the only thing you need is a pair of scissors and some double stick tape.
Countdown to Christmas with Chocolate - housewivesofriverton.comI came up with a whole bunch of activities (and shortened them so they’d fit on the chocolates) that are fun for the whole family.  I realize some of these activities are not available to everyone so I also left some red circles blank so you can write your own activities too.  Here are the activities I came up with:
Go Caroling
Go Sub for Santa Shopping
Go see the lights at Temple Square
Read a Christmas Story
Visit Santa
Write a Letter to Santa
Stay up past bedtime
Deliver Goodies to Neighbors
Do something nice for someone else
Make Magical Reindeer Food
Have a Family Game Night
Watch a Christmas Movie
Go see Zoolights
Decorate the Christmas Tree
Make Christmas Cookies
Write a letter to a Soldier
Have Hot Chocolate by the Fire
Drive around and look at Christmas Lights

To print to the right size download the Countdown to Christmas printable here and when you print print full size on an 8×11 landscape page.  These cute little activities would most likely fit on any variety of chocolates/treats if you can’t happen to find the cute Santa Hat ones.  Enjoy this wonderful holiday season!!!
