Fandom.
Does everyone know what a fandom is? It is the state or condition of being a fan of someone or something.
My fandom is Harry Potter, one daughter loved Doctor Who, and the other likes Peter Pan.
What is your fandom?
I really wanted to let my girls show of their fandoms earlier this year. So I decided to make them dresses that showed them off!
I found a dress for each that was plain and could be embellished. Then I found iron on vinyl to embellish the dresses with.
The more difficult things to find were the artwork. I did an online search for Images and found some images that could be imported into my Cricut Explore‘s Design Space software. I found a Doctor Who font online and downloaded that, along with a Doctor Who screwdriver for her pocket.
For the other dress we chose a London skyline for the hem and Peter Pan, Wendy and the boys for the shoulder.
I had to spend quite a bit of time cleaning the images up, but in the end the projects turned out great! The girls loved their dresses!
Personalizing your children’s cloths is fun and easy using an electronic cutter and iron on vinyl.
What will you try?
