Gift Giving with Coca-Cola®
Holidays are such a great time to spend with family and friends. One of my most favorite part of the holidays is gift giving. I love having the opportunity to pick out gifts and create fun things for our family and friends. Putting together neighbor gifts this year, I decided it would be great to give 2 liter bottles of Coca-Cola® and Coca-Cola® Zero Sugar and include the recipe for the Cranberry Vanilla Coke-tail. I knew this would be a gift that they could use at a family dinner, or they could use it as in a party setting. I included some cute paper straws and made Santa straw toppers to make them a little more festive. The best thing is I just had to head to my local Walmart to grab everything I needed!

Cranberry Vanilla Coke-tail
Ingredients:
Coca-Cola® or Coca-Cola® Zero Sugar
Simply® Cranberry Cocktail
Imitation Vanilla Flavoring
Directions:
Fill a glass 3/4 full with Coca-Cola® or Coca-Cola® Zero Sugar. Add 2-3 drops of imitation vanilla flavoring. Top off with cranberry juice. Give it a stir and serve! Don’t forget to hit up Walmart for all of your ingredients and supplies.
You can find the Coca-Cola® on the soft drink aisle and the Simply® Cranberry in the refrigerated section by the milk and juice.
Santa Straw Topper and Gift Tag
To make the Santa Straw Toppers and Gift Tags, I used my Cricut Maker machine to cut out the images. You can find the designs here and here for your use. However, you can also print your own images or cut out images to use as your tags. Use a hole punch to punch holes in the toppers for the straw to push through. Put them in a clear bag, tie it up with ribbon, attach the gift tag and tie to the bottle.
Sugared Cranberries
I wanted to add a pretty garnish to my Cranberry Vanilla Coke-tail, so I added some sugared cranberries. They look pretty and the combination of sweet and tart is delicious. They are really simple to make too!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
12 oz fresh cranberries
1 1/2 cups sugar
Directions:
First, in a medium sauce pan, combine 1/2 cup water, 1/2 sugar and corn syrup. Then stir until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat. Next, stir in cranberries until all are well coated. In small batches, roll in the extra sugar until covered. After that, let sit for 1-2 hours to dry.
