Home made twine dispenser!

I am currently changing my office from one big jumbled mess into usable office and craft room. I’m sure you have all felt the annoyance of not being able to find something you need for a crafting project because its lost in the abyss of the home. For me times it by two, he office was much the same! SO, I have spent the better part of a week organizing and sifting through mountains of “stuff”, throwing away unneeded items, consolidating, filing and staring confusedly at item I have no idea what to do with…..

Like twine…. yes I love twine. And I have a ton of it!

So, what to do with it? It’s one of those items I know I have certain colors of and can never seem to find when I needed it. So I stared at it and then remembered a pin on Pinterest where someone put it in a mason jar!

I dove into my storage room and found half a dozen jars, lids, and rings.

The only stumbling block was how to make it into something that not only stores the twine but dispenses it.

The benefit of finally being organized is that I can see what I have. And right in front of me was my Crop-A-Dial! A handy little tool that punches holes and installs grommets!

Will it work on metal I asked myself?

Oh yes, it most certainly does!

All you will need to do is use the large hole punch on the Cropodial to punch a hole. Then insert the grommet into the hole and use the crimp-er on the Cropodial to crimp it in place.

From there all it takes is threading the twine through the hole and placing the twine into the jar and screwing on the lid!
Now you have a handy twine dispenser, It seriously took me like 10 minutes to do 7 of them, so it is a quick easy project you can finish in a short amount of time!
