Let me start this post off by saying that Backdropz Photography did not ask me to do this, I’m not being paid or compensated in anyway. I just had a fantastic experience with them and wanted to share it with all of you!
A friend of mine told me she got pictures of her kids done at Backdropz. I had seen them while I was driving but knew nothing about the business. She said they did great with her two boys and were a great quality for a reasonable price. After checking out their photos on Facebook, I thought they looked great and decided to set up a session. The awesome news is they were able to get us in fast. Ryan was leaving for a visit with his grandparents in South Carolina and Sutton is getting bigger and changing by the day, so I wanted to capture how my children look right now.
You know how we housewives love local businesses, so I was super excited that Backdropz was right here in Riverton. Close and convenient! Booking my session using their online scheduler was fast and easy too. They have different sessions you can choose from and explain what type of group works best for what session. They can accommodate individuals all the way up to groups of 30+! And with sessions starting at just $45 and not exceeding $150, there is something for every price range. They also send you email reminders for your session…which was super helpful for me since I’m still suffering from “baby brain”!
I honestly didn’t know exactly what to expect when we got there. I was pretty amazed when we walked into a beautiful lobby. We were then shown to the dressing rooms, which were awesome! It was nice to have a place to set our stuff down and put the finishing touches on the kids’ outfits and hair. Next we got to look around their studio which is full of gorgeous backgrounds and beautiful props. There were so many options to choose from, I’m really glad that Jenn came along with me because I wouldn’t have been able to choose! I’m sure you can imagine that with 4000 sq ft of space for backdrops and props, it was a little overwhelming for an indecisive person like me! It really is awesome to have so many choices because no matter what your wearing there is something that’s going to look amazing for your session! They even have a green screen for adding additional backgrounds!
For our session, we worked with Matt. He did awesome! Photographing five kids wasn’t easy, especially with my little princess Aurora who doesn’t give away smiles easily. He worked so wonderfully with them. He was funny and fun and helped keep them in good spirits throughout the whole session. Matt what great about asking me what I was looking for when it came to our photo shoot. He was so accommodating and helpful!
After our session was done, Matt did some magic editing on our pictures and in just a few minutes he had them ready for us to view on a tablet. We went through and picked our favorites. Then from those, we narrowed it down to the ones we wanted to print. The best part is that they print them there for you, so you leave with the prints you chose AND you get all your photos on a thumb drive with a license release to print as you please! (Additional $10 with some packages) No more waiting days for your prints to come in, being forced to pick just one or two expensive prints, or paying a crazy additional amount just to own your pictures! If you choose to have them print more sheets, their costs are much more affordable than other studios!
