We have a delicious drink recipe for you today! Our Pineapple Summertime Sipper is the perfect way to take a time out from a hot day and relax. It’s an easy and delicious drink you can make for the whole family and it looks pretty too!
During the summer we have our kids drinking tons of water to help keep them hydrated in the hot weather. If you have kids, you know that they can get bored with water really easy, so we like to mix in these fun, fruity drinks occasionally. They love our “fancy” drinks and it keeps them from complaining about drinking so much water every day. 🙂
Pineapple Summertime Sipper
(Photos and recipe by Paula with The Housewives of Riverton)
5 oz pineapple juice
5 oz sparkling apple cider
2 teaspoons grenadine (more if you prefer)
pineapple slice to garnish (optional)
Place your ice cubes in a tall glass. Add you sparkling apple cider, then pineapple juice, then carefully pour in your grenadine. The grenadine will sink to the bottom creating a cool, faded look for your drink! Garnish with your pineapple slice and serve!
This drink is a crowd pleaser and is great for a backyard BBQ or a luau! The sparkling cider makes it not crazy sweet which is nice and refreshing! You can dress it up with a drink umbrella or a pretty flower on a toothpick! Enjoy!
