Hello Everyone! I’m so excited to be a part of this blog with these amazing and talented women.
Today I want to share this cute little planter/flower box my husband Matt and the kids made for me this year for Mother’s Day. The day before the kids told me I needed to leave the house for a few hours. So what did I do…..???? I went and got a pedicure and then I took a long walk around Hobby Lobby! It was so fun to slowly stroll down each and every isle and walk down isles that I usually avoid with my children for fear that they might break something.( I think we’ve all been there)
On Sunday morning the kids could hardly keep their excitement in. They couldn’t wait for me to go outside and see my surprise! The kids worked so hard helping their dad build and paint this cute flower box. Each of the kids picked out a flower and planted it and also painted a wood flower in their favorite color. They also planted and painted a pink flower in honor of their sweet baby sister who is in heaven. As I pass by these flowers each day and watch them grow I can’t help but smile as these flowers are a reminder of each of my children and how special they are to me.
Here is the box today, the flowers are growing beautifully. I think they love their new home.
I’m going to have to sit Matt down and have him figure out measurements for this cute little flower box so stay tuned for instructions….
