We don’t go crazy on Valentine’s Day.  Sometimes if my kids want a hard to find Valentine card to hand out to friends, we’ll make special ones, but usually they are happy to look through what’s at the store and pick something easy.  However, I’m not the type of mom to do 14 days of love for my whole family.  Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s awesome when I see all the cool things people do for their loved ones, and totally wish I could be that on the ball.  But first of all, I’m not that creative to come up with different things for two whole weeks, and second of all, we usually go all out on Christmas, so we keep the other holidays a little more low key.  So doing something like this Valentine Soda Float makes my family super happy and it’s really easy for me!

Directions:
Wet the rim of your glass with simple syrup or water.  Dip in sprinkles.  Fill our glass 2/3 of the way full with your soda.  Carefully add 1-2 large scoops of vanilla ice cream.  Top with whipped cream and sprinkles.  Use a fun paper straw to make it even more festive and enjoy!
