We partnered with Universal Kids to celebrate the premier of The Big Fun Crafty Show! Make sure you take a look at our fun project inspired by the show and definitely tune in today, May 14th at 5:30pm ET/4:30pm CT for the first episode!
The Big Fun Crafty Show features 3 teams of kids, who are challenged to create a super fun craft in a certain amount of time. If your kids are anything like ours, any time our craft stuff comes out, they swarm the area to try to make something special of their own. This show encourages kids to take everday craft items and use their imaginations to build something awesome!
Now, let me tell you…a craft crate full of super fun items was like a Christmas suprise to our kids! Seriously. They were digging through the whole thing, claiming what they wanted and planning what they would make. They are even planning their own “shop” so they can try to sell their creations! I love how a box full of supplies gets kids brains working in all sorts of different ways!
Here are a couple of the things we made that were inspired by The Big Fun Crafty Show. My children are now obsessed with zig zag scissors! We made the pinata with popsicle sticks, construction paper, glue, washi tape, pom pom balls, pipe cleaners, and colorful cording. Our Kite was made with self sticking popsicle sticks, construction paper, glue, pom pom balls, stickers, pipe cleaners and washi tape. We had so much fun creating our projects and can’t wait to make more!
Remember to tune in today at 5:30pm ET/4:30pm CT for The Big Fun Crafty Show on Universal Kids! I guarantee your kids are going to love it and with summer coming up, it will give you some wonderful ideas to help keep your kids engaged and having fun! Don’t miss out!!
