Changing Table - Before & After - Creative Housewives

It’s been about 5 years now since I bought this cute changing table. It matched the crib and dresser we bought for Mr. B when he was born. I love the look of it, the fact that once I’m done with it being a changing table it doesn’t *scream* changing table – add some cute decor, some baskets, books and toys and it is just a cute little shelf.

Let me give you a bit of advice though – do NOT take apart a piece of furniture because you *think* you have the instructions to put it back together still. I was so incredibly sure that the instructions were in the top drawer. Sadly the instructions that I had were for the two cribs, NOT the changing table.

Luckily I knew what it was suppose to look like when I was done and I was able to get it all put back together, it only took me like 4 hours instead of half of one.

So, here she is – all cute and nice but not going to match the theme for the baby’s room at all.

This is what she looked like after the 1st coat of paint.

And here she is all done. I can’t wait for her room to be finished so I can show you how great it looks in there. I definitely like it better black!

Here are a few other pieces I’ve picked up. These are just some before pictures. The weather has been horrid, not even a chance of painting going on, but hopefully soon they’ll be something pretty and new again 🙂

The current plan is for that cute storage bench to go in the boys room and that darling desk, that’ll be in the girl’s room!
