Recently Jenn’s son Brighton turned 8! In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days saints, this is when you are baptized and become a member of the church. It’s a big day, and one we like to really celebrate. In all the hustle and bustle I got to help out a little by making a banner.
I love banners! And so this was a blast for me to do. And I think it turned out fantastic!
Here is a list of supplies:
6 pieces of Green 12×12 paper (Two banner sections should be able to be cut from one 12×12 paper)
2 pieces of Gold foil 12×12 craft paper
2 pieces of silver foil paper
pop up’s for attaching the 8’s and CTR sheilds
Twine
Clips
I used the Cricut Explore and some of the images like the banner sections, start and #8 came from their library. I downloaded an SVG file into the Design Space to create the CTR shield.
The sky is the limit in embellishing banners. In this case we used some cute clips to add pictures of Brighton to the banner!
Here is a quick birthday banner I did for my husbands birthday:
- The Best Vinegar Paintbrush Cleaner Method - May 6, 2023
- 10 Fun and Easy St. Patrick’s Day Games - March 1, 2023
- Valentine’s Day Felt Wreath DIY - January 20, 2023
What a great idea to celebrate such a wonderful occasion! Congrats to him for becoming a member. I remember my baptism & I was just so happy 🙂
