Even with the cooler weather here, I love to hold on to feeling a little tropical by having some fresh fruit with our meals. Fruit salad is a perfect way to combine everyone’s favorite fruits, and it always looks so pretty on the table!
This Creamy Fruit salad is incredibly easy to put together and is delicious! I love having fruit on the table at dinner time. My kids devour fruit, so it’s nice to come up with new ways to serve it.
Creamy Fruit Salad
1 – 16oz container of vanilla yogurt
1 – pineapple, cut into chunks
2 – green apples, cut into chunks
2 – red apples, cut into chunks
1 – 10 oz can of mandarin oranges, drained well
1 small jar maraschino cherries, drained well
1 lb red or purple grapes
3 tablespoons lemon juice
Combine all your fruit together in a large bowl. Next, pour your lemon juice over the fruit and mix gently. After that, add your vanilla yogurt and mix gently until all fruit is covered well. Feel free to use more yogurt if you’d like it creamier.
This is definitely a family favorite because it’s so fruity and fun. What is your favorite recipe for fruit salad? We’d love you to comment and share it with us!
