Happy Saturday! Do you have any fun weekend plans? Ours are filled with soccer games, buying our Ski season passes (I’m not ready for snow yet!!!) and church. Hopefully/maybe we can get a few projects done around here as well.
I should start off with a huge apology for my pictures today. Not sure what was up but they’re not looking too great to me.
That being said this recipe has proven to be a crowd pleaser. My family (all 9 of us) loves it and so far I haven’t had any friends complain :). I’ve given the recipe to friends/family and everyone agrees it is really easy and YUMMY!
So here we go.
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 packages of Italian dressing mix (the powder stuff)
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 package cream cheese (the box size with the tinfoil type wrapping inside)
about 1/4 cup butter
Fettuccine noodles (for this amount I usually do 2 of the 16oz packages)
(I doubled my recipe because I was making enough to share so it’s going to look like a lot more food in my pictures…just so you know).
Cut your chicken breasts into bite sized pieces, throw in pan with the butter.
Cook over medium/medium high heat until chicken is fully cooked, stirring often.
Put the chicken mixture, cream cheese & cream of chicken soup all into the crockpot.
It is very filling and very good warmed up for leftovers. (I promise they had salad and stuff with their pasta but T-man likes to load his plate up with each thing individually and before I forgot I used his plate for my picture).
As I mentioned in the title – it is VERY easy to make this on the stove top completely as well. Instead of putting the chicken and everything in the crockpot just do it all in your pot on the stove. I love doing it in the crockpot because it gets it out of the way earlier in the day and we can eat at 5 (or so) instead of starting dinner at 5 (or so).
Have a great weekend!!!!
