This card was super easy to make and the best part is, you can adjust the colors to be whatever you want!
I started with a 4″ x 5.5″ card. I chose the brown “paper bag” looking card. Next I cut my solid pieces of paper into 1.25″ x 5.5″ strips. After using the adhesive of your choice to stick down the solid strips of paper (overlap them just slightly) I used a brown ink pad to ink the edges of my card.
After that I cut my damask paper into 1.5″ x 3.75″ strips. I just freehanded the snips at the end to make it look like a banner. They don’t have to be perfect…I kind of like that they aren’t uniform. I inked each of the banners with the brown ink pad also.
You will want to cut your coordinating baker’s twine about 3 times as long as your banners. That will give you enough length to be able to tie it.
I used a fine tip pen to write “For You” and some cute little self adhesive jewels.
See! I told you it was SUPER easy! All of these items were at Hobby Lobby and the best part is you can use a 40% off coupon to make it cheaper! ๐
