Last week I shared the cute plaid pillows my daughter made using my DIY Throw Pillow Tutorial. I love these plaid pillows, they’re so cute! Today I’m sharing this adorable Believe Throw Pillow and I think it is the perfect companion pillow to my plaid pillows.

You’re going to love how easy this pillow is to make. With just a few supplies you’ll have this darling believe throw pillow sitting on your couch making your heart happy!
Believe Throw Pillow Supply List:
Placemat (I found mine at Hobby Lobby)
Gold Glitter Iron-On Vinyl
Iron
Stuffing
Sewing Machine (or needle and matching thread)
Cricut
Cricut Believe cut file (found here)
To make the believe throw pillow out of a placemat you’re going to start by cutting believe out of your gold glitter iron-on vinyl. Once you have it cut you’re going to iron it onto the placemat. Once it is ironed on well your next step is going to be turning your placemat into a pillow. (warning – for those who may use the same placemat as I did you need to be careful, there is a weird layer in the middle that can melt if it gets too hot. I pulled it out of my pillows because I think it’s just to help the placemat be stiffer and I don’t need that for my pillows, not all placemats have this so just check what your placemat is made out of before you start.)
To turn a placemat into a pillow I’m going to send you to my friend Tauni over at Snapcreativity.com, she did a great step by step tutorial and I don’t believe in recreating the wheel 🙂
Oh how I love my cute pillows! I’ve got one more to show you and it may just be my favorite of them all! Stay tuned, I’ll be sharing it later this week and I think it will be my final pillow of the season…maybe!
I’ve got to thank Heidi Swapp for having what is truly the greatest handwriting out there. This believe throw pillow is as cute as it is because she teamed up with Cricut and added her handwriting to their files including her incredibly popular *believe*, yay for amazing collaborations!
I’d love to see your pillow creations so if you make one please share them with me!
