DIY Pacific Northwest Shirt Designs
You may not know that Paula and I were born and raised in Oregon. While we now both live in Utah, the Pacific Northwest (PWN) holds a very special place in our hearts. We love returning home every year to see family and the beauty that can only be found in the Pacific Northwest. There is nothing as satisfying as driving along the Oregon coast line. You have the gorgeous coast views on one side, and beautiful, lush, green forests on the other. As you can imagine, we did a lot of camping and hiking growing up. We thought it would be really fun to create some Pacific Northwest Shirt Designs to represent our PNW heritage.
Our PNW shirts
While designing our Pacific Northwest Shirt Designs we wanted something for everyone in the family to wear. We also wanted to make sure that our designs were something anyone could wear, boy or girl, adult or child. When our families saw the shirts and all approved we knew we had created a winning collection.
Where to find our Pacific Northwest Shirt Designs
We are loving Cricut’s new feature in Design Space “Cricut Community”! Cricut Community gives us the ability to share the projects we create with anyone who has Design Space. The new profiles in Cricut Community are awesome because you get to *meet* the project designers and learn a little about them and why they create the projects they create.
You can find our Cricut Community profile here. Because we’re always making things for our families we’ll regularly be updating our projects and there may not always be a blog post associated with it. So make sure you check it out often, and let us know if there is a project you’d like a tutorial on.
Make your own Pacific Northwest Shirt
We’re excited to know which of our Pacific Northwest Shirt Designs is your favorite. We’ll link to each individual design below so you can make whichever one you like best.
Life is Good in the Woods shirt, PNW Pacific Northwest shirt, Pacific Northwest Born and Raised shirt.
PNW Trees, Made in the PNW.
If you’ve never made your own shirt with Iron-on before check out this post for a complete, step by step tutorial. If you’re experienced in creating your own Iron-on shirts here is what you need to make these specific shirts.
Supplies used:
Cricut Machine
EasyPress 2
EasyPress Mat
Everyday Iron-on in White, Black, Green
Foil Iron-on in Emerald Green
Weeding Tool
Shirt of choice
Step 1. Pick your favorite Pacific Northwest Shirt Design (or pick 2!)
Step 2. Choose your Iron-on and cut out your design
Step 3. Weed out the excess Iron-on
Step 4. Preheat your shirt – find the recommended settings for EasyPress and each Iron-on type here
Step 5. Apply your Pacific Northwest Shirt design to your shirt
Step 6. Let Iron-on cool or remove protective layer while Iron-on is warm depending on the recommended settings for your products
Step 7. Sit back and admire your new shirt
We have to take a moment to say how much we love our Cricut machine and our EasyPress 2. With these two products there is literally nothing our families could want on a shirt that we couldn’t create for them in almost no time here at home. Check out a few of our other Cricut created projects below.

Super cute designs! None of my kids were born here, but they sure are growing up here! I love that I can use these still just right across the river in WA 🙂
Thank you!! We thought they were pretty fun! 🙂
