One of the fun parts of the holiday season is receiving Christmas cards! I love to get the little updates from friends and family I haven’t seen in a while. And I love to see the family pictures that often accompany them.
This year I wanted to display them a little nicer, so I scanned Pinterest for ideas. I came across some inspiration, and then took a little trip to Hobby Lobby for supplies.
What I found was a great mercury glass vase! It is tall and, I think, perfect for the job. I then went out to the back yard and cut some sticks. You could use pine boughs or glittered craft boughs, or even curly willow sticks. Whatever media you think will fit your decor.
Basically you are creating an arrangement where you can clip in your Christmas cards as they arrive. I am using a combination of binder clips and glittered tiny clothespins to attach them.
This project is simple and can be styled for your individual tastes. So, if you haven’t found a way to display your cards, look around your home! You may just have the fixings for a great display!
