June Riverton City Fun!

Riverton City has a ton of super fun stuff going on this summer!  We’re going to try to keep you updated on all the fun stuff.  If you don’t live in Riverton, that’s okay!  You can still come and join in on all the fun!

June 12th, Dusk – Movies in the Park: Riverton Hospital Lawn, Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs – FREE

June 15th, 6-8pm – Volunteer Sports Day: Let you kids try out a new sport!  Sports include: Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Football, and Lacrosse.  CR Hamilton Sports Complex, 13800 South 3700 West, Riverton – FREE

June 22nd, 4:30pm gates open, main event starts at 7:30pm – Riverton City Main Park Grand Opening: This awesome event features The Osmonds, Alex Boye, Riverton Children’s Choir, Riverton Jazz Band and additional RHS performing groups.  Country Artist and Motivational Speaker Nathan Osmond will serve as the Master of Ceremonies.  Come check out the newly renovated park that includes a splash pad, Old Dome Meeting Hall Indoor Pavilion, 3 playgrounds, 3 exercise stations, 2 outdoor pavilions, Basketball courts, Sand volleyball court and much more!  The evening will be capped off with an amazing fireworks display!  Riverton Main Park 1452 West 12600 South, Riverton – FREE

June 26th & 27th, 8pm gates open at 6:30pm – Riverton Rodeo: Riverton Rodeo Arena.  Tickets can be purchased online at here or in person at the Riverton Parks and Rec office at 12830 South Redwood Road.  $7 General Admission and FREE for children 3 and under.

June 29th, 12 noon Riverton Park – Riverton Park Splash Pad Opening:  Come enjoy the new Riverton Park Splash Pad!  The first 50 people will receive a prize!  Riverton Main Park 1452 West 12600 South, Riverton – FREE
