While crafting and sewing is how I would love to spend the majority of my free time there is no question that when a family gathering is happening the food is the star. Traditional Thanksgiving dinners have always been my favorite meal, growing up I would always request Thanksgiving dinner for my birthday (about 2 weeks before Thanksgiving) and because my mom is awesome she’d typically make it for me.
Our Thanksgiving dinner menu always looks something like this:
Turkey
Ham
Stuffing
Mashed Potatoes
Gravy
Deviled Eggs
Brussels Sprouts
Jello
Salad
Rolls
Cranberry Sauce
Fruit Salad
Honey Glazed Carrots
Sweet Potato Casserole
Apple Pie
Pumpkin Pie
along with a whole lot of pre-meal snacks
Let’s just say we live for leftovers because there is always so much food which is good because Thanksgiving leftovers are some of the very best leftovers to have.
We’ve shared quite a few of our favorite Thanksgiving recipes on the blog, to help you out I’m going to put them all here (you’re welcome!). I’m sure we’ll be adding to this list of shared recipes to make sure our complete meal is on the blog (we love to share!)
Turkey and Gravy
Sweet Potato Casserole
Mashed Potatoes
Spinach Salad
Creamy Fruit Salad
Oven Roasted Bacon Brussels Sprouts
Maple Honey Carrots
Pumpkin Rolls
Homemade Cranberry Sauce

I really hope you’ll give some of these recipes a try and let us know what you think. I think you’ll be so happy you did.
