For quite a few years the other Housewives and I along with some of our friends got together for a monthly card swap. We always had so much fun and got great cards in the process (lots of them have been showcased here at housewivesofriverton.com – check them out here). Last year we decided we all had a huge stockpile of cards so instead of card swap we started having a girl’s night out instead. I miss the cards and I have started running low which is a bummer. Enter Watercolor Wishes Card Kit from Stampin’ UP!
This kit contains everything you need to make 20 cards that cover just about every occasion you can think of.
I had so much fun making my cards. I loved that everything I needed (except adhesive, I just used a glue gun) was included in the kit. I spent a couple hours putting them all together and was excited with how they turned out and I was surprised at how much extra was included in the kit. After completing 20 cards I still had washi tape, 3D popup adhesive, sequins, 11 wooden shapes, and a variety of stickers left over not to mention 2 stampin’ spots (night of navy and watermelon wonder) and the full stamp set of 12 stamps (huge congrats, hello, happiest birthday wishes, thanks, you’re amazing, time to celebrate, just a note, you’re in my thoughts, you are so loved, here’s to you, 3 hearts, and a single heart). Quite a steal for just $35.00 I think!
I love the Watercolor Wishes stamp set so much I see myself using them often in the near future. They say everything you could possibly need to say.
I made my cards exactly how they made them in the kit, they’re all so cute I figured why mess it up. You have the option with this kit though to do whatever you want, do it as they did or make them all your own.
You can purchase the Watercolor Wishes Card Kit here. I know you’ll love it as much as I do!
