My kids seem to be eating constantly. And I mean that completely truthfully. The other morning, my 4 year old asked me at 10:30am if it was lunch time yet! From the 4 month old all the way up to the almost 13 year old, I feel like I’m feeding someone 24 hours a day. Because their little bodies are growing all the time having snacks in our house is a must to help me keep my sanity. But I want those snacks to be something filling that actually keep them satisfied until the next meal time. So I came up with these delicious Chicken Cordon Bleu Crescents to be ready when they get home from school as a great, filling snack for them.
Chicken Cordon Bleu Crescents
1 – 8ct can of crescent rolls
1 – chicken breast, cooked
4 – slices ham
4 – slices swiss cheese
Preheat oven to temperature on crescent roll package. Slice chicken breast into 8 slices. Unroll crescent rolls, layer half slice of ham, half slice of cheese, and one slice of chicken on the crescent roll. Roll up and place on baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until rolls are golden brown. Serve warm and enjoy!
I was surprised that my kids liked these as much as they do because they usually aren’t crazy about swiss cheese. However, I think that flavor was made a little more mild with the flavor of the crescent rolls and ham. They love any afternoon that they come home from school and I have these waiting for them in the kitchen!
