It is so hard to be good during the Holidays we have so many parties and treats and neighbors bringing goodies. I try to not indulge but it gets difficult.
My personality is all or nothing so I either eat the whole plate of cookies or non at all so I’ve tried something a little different this year. I found this recipe that only has 30 calories for one treat and I’ve tried to let myself have one of these when I start to feel my sweet tooth.
This is a frozen treat and when I make them I have to hid them at the back of the freezer because my boys will eat them all in one sitting. They really are that good!
I love love love reece’s peanut butter cups and I can’t tell you enough how much this treat resembles the flavor to me. If you love peanut butter you will love them too.
They are simple to make, you thaw a small container of cool whip and stir in 3 Tbsp of creamy peanut butter.
I buy the mini baking cups (you can find them in the baking section of the grocery store) and put them in my mini muffin tin and then just scoop the cool whip into the cups. Then just put them in the freezer. So simple and you will be addicted.
You can drizzle them with melted chocolate but it is optional.
So far having a little something I can grab has worked and I’m hoping to do better this year once January comes around so I don’t feel so bad for all the sweets I’ve eaten.
