My oldest and youngest have birthdays in December. So it’s always nice to do something a little festive and fun! Earlier this year while scanning through Pinterest, I came across this post from Kitchen Fun With My 3 Sons! I thought it was a great idea and stuck it away for when their birthdays came up closer to Christmas.
So on December 6th for H’s 3rd birthday, the boys got to wake up to Rudolph Pancakes!
It was super easy, I just did my best to shape a head with little ears and then made another smaller oval pancake to use as the snout. A couple of pieces of bacon for antlers and some whipped cream, chocolate chips and a Maraschino cherry for the red nose! The boys were super excited for their fun and yummy breakfast!
R was very interested to see what he would get for his birthday breakfast this morning, so I decided to do a Snowman this time! They turned out great…although a little more tricky to flip! ๐
Once again, just cooked three pancakes of different size circles together, a bacon scarf, a cherry cut into a triangle for the nose and some chocolate chips and whipped cream for the eyes, mouth and buttons! Again, they were all super happy and it didn’t take me any longer than it would have for making pancakes the regular way! ๐
These would also be great for a kids Christmas breakfast! It was so much fun to do! Enjoy!
