You see them all around the parks, tied to strollers, on the wrists of little kids…but just how much are balloons at Disneyland? We’ll answer that question for you and some others that might come up.

Balloons are a common item at Disney Parks. They are a fun souvenir that almost any child will love, and they can be a great way to find your stroller when it’s parked among the 100’s of other strollers. Not to mention it’s adorable to take a picture of your little one walking through Disneyland with a Mickey balloon. Let’s cover all the most common questions about balloons at Disneyland.
How Much Are Balloons At Disneyland?
Balloons at Disneyland will run you anywhere from $12 to $18 depending on the type of balloon you get. Standard ones are less expensive, while specialty ones (ones that light up) will be more expensive.

What happens if my balloon pops or deflates?
If any part of your balloon deflates or pops, just take your receipt to any balloon vendor and they will replace it! No questions asked. But remember to keep that receipt to prove that you actually bought a balloon.
Where do I find balloons at Disneyland?
It’s not hard to spot a Disney balloon vendor, but most of the time you can find them up and down Main Street in Disneyland, or on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure, usually near Carthay Circle. We have also found cast members selling them in Downtown Disney.

Can I take a picture holding a bunch of balloons without buying them?
We’ve all seen the pictures of someone holding a huge bunch of balloons in the parks. Did they really buy all those balloons? Probably not. Most balloon vendors will let you take a picture in front of their supply of balloons, and some will even let you hold them while they keep ahold of the end of the strings and stand out of your picture.
How long does a Disneyland balloon last?
If you take care of your balloon, it can easily last you two to four weeks! We had ours floating around for at least three weeks before they started to sink. Our kids loved having it as a reminder of our trip!
How do I get my balloon home?
If you are flying, you can’t take an inflated balloon on the plane with you. And if you are driving, you probably don’t want a balloon bouncing around in your rearview mirror. (We made this mistake!) One of the great things about balloons at Disneyland is that they are zip tied closed. You can take a small pair of scissors or nail clippers and carefully snip the zip tie to deflate the balloon. You can pack it away, and when you get home take it to be filled up again to enjoy.
If you don’t want to take your balloon home, you can pass on the magic to another family as you are leaving the parks!

More tips for your Disneyland balloons.
Make sure you tie them securely to your stroller, scooter, or backpack. Some children will really want to hold their balloon, so make sure you secure it well to their wrist so it doesn’t float away.
Be a good balloon steward and make sure you aren’t smacking people in the face with it as you are walking. Also, pretty please, pull down your balloons during any parades, shows, or fireworks. It’s a real bummer to wait for the fireworks to start only to have someone’s balloons blocking your view the whole time.
If you are going to be in the parks multiple days, get your balloon on the first day so you can enjoy it throughout your whole time there.
