I love lasagna! And I really love my recipe for lasagna! But I thought I’d change things up a bit and do something I saw on Pinterest. Unfortunately I guess I didn’t actually pin what I saw so I just used my own lasagna recipe and their idea of rolling it up in the lasagna noodle. So here we go!
First I boiled 10 lasagna noodles until cooked. Then I laid them out on my counter and started to fill them. I used approximately 10 oz ricotta cheese, 1 lb of seasoned ground beef, approximately 10 oz of medium cheddar cheese and 10 oz of mozzarella cheese.
Next, start at one end and roll them up. Put about a cup of spaghetti sauce (I used Hunts Traditional) in a baking dish and then place each roll in.
Place in an oven preheated at 375°F for 25-30 mins. Spoon a bit of reserve spaghetti sauce over the rolls and top with some cheese. Place back in the oven for 3-5 mins until cheese is melted.
It only took me about 10 mins to put together 10 lasagna rolls, add that to the cooking time and it’s a pretty quick and easy meal! We served ours with homemade garlic bread and steamed asparagus. ๐
This recipe will work with whatever lasagna recipe you are comfortable with. Enjoy!
