I’m so grateful for Memorial Day. While I’m so proud of all the men and women who do and have served our country every day, I’m grateful that we have a special day reserved to show our respect and gratitude for the amazing people who have passed that have served our country.
While we were in Idaho, I was blessed to get to visit my Grandpa’s grave. While we were there, they were setting the flags at each grave. We got there just in time to see them setting Grandpa’s. It was such a wonderful experience and I’m so glad we were able to be a part of it.
Aunt Teresa got some flowers to for us to lay on Grandpa’s grave. The kids were so sweet!
Aunt Teresa and I each got in on the pics too. ๐

The two little ones were watching the older kids placing the flags and gave Grandpa a little salute!
So thank you Grandpa, for all your service. For being amazing and loving us all so much. We love and miss you every day.
Even if you don’t know anyone personally who have served, remember the sacrifices that have been made so that we can all continue to enjoy the freedoms we have in this wonderful country of ours.
