I do not believe I have ever *dressed* for a New Year’s Eve Party. Married at 19, Mom at 20, not too much partying in my youth. But in keeping with my dream party theme I was looking up some clothing options and well, to be honest, I’m wishing I had been looking before Christmas because some of these items would have been on my Christmas list.
New Year’s = sparkle, am I right? I would guess after looking through this list you (like me) with be thinking your wardrobe needs a lot more sparkle.
Seriously, look at this gorgeous skirt!

If you’re looking for a sparkle skirt of a shorter length this one is dang adorable!

As is this one.

My New Year’s Eve Party themes tend to be a bit more casual than those beautiful skirts (although, I think a sparkle skirt is perfectly appropriate for church so one is still going on the list!). These tops are easily as beautiful as the skirts and paired with a blazer and skinny jeans (or maybe leggings if you’re in the mood) give you dressy yet a little less formal/fancy.
Love the vest and the top! (source)

This particular outfit is not at all my style, but I think the saying on the shirt is super cute. A fun DIY project idea and a subtle use of the sparkle.

And the one look I may actually be able to pull off this year.
I’ve been sporting gold on my ring finger for the past 6 weeks, I think I can handle it for 2 more weeks. (source)
I tried to look at possible outfits without sparkle but couldn’t bring myself to do it. New Year’s just screams sparkle to me.
So, I don’t know about you but this post has me ready to shop for next year’s New Year’s Eve Party attire and maybe just maybe Easter will find our outfits a bit sparkly this year too.
