My husband makes this poppy seed cake every year at Christmas time and our family loves it. The kitchen smells amazing when its cooking. My husband’s family would give this cake as neighbor gifts at Christmas time when he was younger and he wanted to carry on the same tradition. We have been giving this poppy seed cake as neighbor gifts for years and they love it. This cake is so moist and delicious and the cream cheese frosting drizzled on top is the perfect touch!
