I’m probably far happier about this Thanksgiving Table Decor than a normal person would be. I’ve been married for 18 years and haven’t ever had the opportunity to really host Thanksgiving. We spend Thanksgiving with my family or Nate’s family each year which is great but I just want to get to host things sometimes too. Does that make sense?
There was one downfall to our Fakesgiving (that’s what we’re calling our Thanksgiving in October because well we need to call it something and it wasn’t actually Thanksgiving, sadly) we had all these plans to have it outside, we were suppose to have a food table, dessert table, adult table, teen table, kid’s table…but in the end the weather didn’t cooperate (it was touch and go for hours) so we had to bring it all inside and scale things back a lot.
I’m still so thrilled with how things turned out, both of the tables looked great and the food, it was amazing (if I do say so myself).
We took a few minutes to periscope our table layouts and I thought it would be fun to share it with you so you can see how things looked that night.
Over the next couple weeks Paula and I will be sharing in more detail all about our Fakesgiving dinner. The recipes, the kid’s table, the adult table, everything we did to make our night enjoyable and in plenty of time for you to use on real Thanksgiving!
If you’re not already following us on Facebook, Instagram, or Periscope we’d love for you to join us there too!
