We LOVE smoothies in our house. Even though my kids eat their fruits and veggies really well, it’s nice to have different ways for them to get all the servings they need. This is not a real sweet smoothie, so if you prefer a sweeter smoothie, add honey to up the sweetness. This recipe makes about 4 cups of smoothie, it’s perfect to split between two adults (or if you are me…you just drink the whole thing!) or a few kids.

1 cups baby carrots, cut in half
1 banana
1 1/2 cups strawberries

1 to 1 1/2 cups ice (if you are using frozen fruit, ice can be omitted)
1 tablespoon honey (if more sweetness is desired)
Directions
Put your orange juice, carrots, banana, spinach and yogurt in the blender. Blend until well combined. Add ice and honey (if desired) and blend until well combined and smooth. Garnish with a strawberry and enjoy!

I like my green smoothie, but they never actually look very good. I think it’s the idea of a green drink. I never liked green Kool-Aid as a kid either. Your smoothie sounds really great though. Actually, it sounds way better than the one I drink. Thanks for a new recipe to try. Pinning. Kathleen @ Fearlessly Creative Mammas
