Apple Cranberry Stuffing
4-6 servings
7-8 oz herb seasoned bread cubes
3-4 celery stalks, chopped
1/2 cup chopped apple
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 chopped dried cranberries
1 – 14 oz can of chicken broth
1/4 teaspoon ground sage
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
pinch of cumin
5 tablespoons butter
Preheat oven to 375°F
In a sauce pan, melt butter. Add celery and onion, saute 3-4 mins. In medium bowl combine bread cubes, apples, cranberries and seasoning. Pour chicken broth over and stir until moist. Add sauteed celery and onion mixture, mix until combined.
Spray 9 x 13 pan with non stick spray. Put stuffing in the pan and bake for 15 minutes. Stir and bake for another 15-20 minutes until top is browned.
Serve with chicken or turkey and enjoy!
