Valentine M&M Blonde Brownies

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and these Valentine M&M Blonde Brownies are the perfect treat to make for your loved ones. My kids walked into the house after school and devoured them. I love M&M’s so I thought adding them was the perfect idea. My husband loves blonde brownies but I wasn’t sure what he would think of these because he isn’t a huge chocolate fan but he loved them. They are chewy and the perfect amount of chocolate. I promise your family will be so happy if you whip up a batch of these yummy Valentine M&M Blonde Brownies!

Valentine M&M Blonde Brownies Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups of flour

2 cups brown sugar

2/3 c. butter

2 eggs

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

1 c. chocolate chips

1 c. M&M’s

1/2 teaspoon salt

Valentine Blonde Brownies Directions:

1. First preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a bowl and set aside. Melt butter in microwave and mix with brown sugar. Mix well. Let mixture cool down for at least 5 minutes and then add the eggs and vanilla and mix well.

2. Next you will slowly add the flour mixture to the brown sugar mixture and mix well. Then mix in 1/2 c. chocolate chips and 1/2 c. of M&M’s.

3. Pour in a 9 x 13 inch greased pan and sprinkle remaining chocolate chips and M&M’s on top. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
