I have to admit it. I am pretty proud of my cute little 4 year old’s birthday cake. It was SO super easy but turned out SO super cute I am going to share it with you anyway.
Once again I totally copied it (from here) and I pretty much followed it exactly. I used their template and I used neon green food coloring and it turned out perfect. Isn’t it so dang cute?
The one thing that they didn’t really tell/explain was what all they used for the dinosaur’s spots so I am going to tell you what I used. It was super simple and I think it helped keep the cost of the decorating down ๐ I didn’t want to buy m&m’s (even though they’re delicious and I love them) because I needed enough brown ones and I didn’t want to have to buy (and eat) a big bag SO this is what I bought.
The little brown spots are the raisinets.
The next size up brown spots are brach’s almond supremes
The big brown spots are wilton dark cocoa candy melts
The spikes are hershey’s kisses.
All the browns matched awesome and he turned out so cute. He seriously didn’t take long to make at all and I don’t decorate very many cakes.
He was the hit of the party. The kids all loved him and wanted a piece of the dinosaur cake even though I made cupcakes too.
He is so cute. Hated cutting into him but loved how perfect he was!
Hope if you make him you’ll share pictures too!!!
(Also, I was thinking how cute would he be as a SHE with pink frosting and stuff…I may have to do it one day!)

Adorable!
I’ve made that same cake by the same tutorial!! SO fun! ๐ It was for my eldest boy when he turned 4 (he’s now 7!) Yours turned out great – clever use of additional toppings!
